Cookie Policy
Which cookies and similar technologies this website uses, why, how long they last and how you can control them.

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage does a similar job but stays on your device and is not sent with each request. We use both sparingly: to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember your language and display theme, run website chat and check that visitors are human.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Some cookies are set by third parties whose features we embed, such as Google Translate, the Chatwoot chat service and the security-check provider, and those providers handle them under their own policies. This policy was last updated in October 2026.
Cookies and storage we use
The table lists the cookies and local-storage items you may find on this website. Strictly necessary items are needed for the website and portal to work and do not need your consent. Functional items support features such as translation, chat and your display preference. Security items come from the captcha provider and protect forms and sign-in. Exact durations of third-party items are set by their providers.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Category | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | CorEnergy | Keeps you signed in to the portal and holds form state between pages | Strictly necessary | Session |
| CSRF token | CorEnergy | Protects forms and portal actions against cross-site request forgery | Strictly necessary | Session |
| googtrans | Google Translate | Remembers the language you chose for the page | Functional | Session, or until you reset the language |
| cw_conversation | Chatwoot (website chat) | Links your browser to your chat conversation | Functional | Up to 12 months |
| cw_user_* | Chatwoot (website chat) | Remembers the chat contact so earlier messages stay visible | Functional | Up to 12 months |
| Turnstile or reCAPTCHA cookies (such as cf_clearance or _GRECAPTCHA) | Cloudflare or Google | Tells people from automated traffic on forms and sign-in | Security | From minutes up to 6 months |
| Theme preference (local storage) | CorEnergy | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark display | Functional | Until you clear site data |
Strictly necessary cookies
The session cookie and the CSRF token are set by our own server. Without them you cannot sign in to the portal, open private views or submit a form securely. They contain random identifiers, not your name or email address, and they expire when you close your browser or shortly after you sign out.
Third-party cookies
Google Translate sets googtrans when you choose a language, and the page text is sent to Google for translation. The Chatwoot chat service sets cw_ cookies so a conversation survives a page change or a later visit. Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies or read device signals to check that a form is submitted by a person. Each provider handles that information under its own privacy terms.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage by clearing the site data for corenergylogistics.com. Blocking strictly necessary cookies stops the portal and forms from working. Blocking functional cookies means the website will not remember your language, theme or chat history.
The website works without translation or chat, so you can block those cookies and still read every page, use the tracker and contact us. The security check is needed to submit forms; if it will not work for you, email info@corenergylogistics.com or call +1 252 633 7061 and we will handle your request directly.
