Thames Estuary, UK
London's fuel import cluster. We arrange product freight, storage and inspection at terminals along the Thames Estuary.

London and the South-East have had no operating refinery since Coryton closed in 2012. Instead, a ring of independent import terminals along the Thames Estuary supplies road fuel and jet fuel to Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted.
The former Coryton site is now Thames Oilport, run by Greenergy and Shell. We arrange product freight, storage and inspection across the estuary terminals.
The terminals
Each terminal has its own draft limits. Oikos Canvey takes tankers up to 120,000 DWT at 14 metres and supplies jet fuel to the three London airports.
| Terminal | Storage |
|---|---|
| Navigator Terminals Thames, West Thurrock | 378,276 m³ in 86 tanks |
| Exolum Grays | 310,000 m³ in 51 tanks |
| Oikos Canvey Island | 300,000 m³, two jetties |
| Thames Oilport, Coryton | Diesel import terminal |
What we arrange
