Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire
A refining and supply hub for Côte d'Ivoire and its landlocked neighbours. We arrange product freight, storage and inspection through Abidjan.

Abidjan is home to SIR, the Ivorian refinery, which processed about 3.3 million tonnes of crude in 2024. SIR sells most of its output at home, but almost a quarter went to Mali and a further share was exported by sea.
Storage is run mainly by GESTOCI, which holds about 85 percent of national liquid fuel capacity. A pipeline carries product inland from Abidjan to Yamoussoukro and on toward Bouaké. We arrange freight, storage and inspection for products moving through Abidjan.
From refinery to the interior
The Abidjan–Yamoussoukro section of the product pipeline has operated since 2013 and carried about 1.7 million cubic metres in 2024. GESTOCI added a 20,000 cubic metre diesel tank at Yamoussoukro in 2026 and plans new depots in Odienné and San Pedro.
- Product freight into Abidjan
- Storage through GESTOCI and other terminals
- Inland movements by pipeline and road
- Independent inspection at each transfer
Prices and market
Ivorian pump prices are set by a government mechanism that follows world crude prices, and an equalisation system keeps them the same across the country. At the end of 2024 there were 79 licensed marketers and more than 1,500 service stations.
