Quintero, Chile
Chile's central fuel and LNG gateway. We arrange product freight, discharge planning and inspection at Quintero Bay.

Quintero Bay is Chile's main entry point for fuel and LNG. ENAP's marine terminal feeds the Aconcagua refinery at Concón, which together supply much of the country's fuel.
Several companies run terminals in the bay, including ENAP, Copec, Oxiquim, GNL Quintero, Enex and Gasmar. The bay is under strict air-quality rules. We arrange freight, discharge planning and inspection.
How Chilean fuel prices are set
Under the MEPCO mechanism, the National Energy Commission (CNE) sets weekly import-parity prices with the US Gulf Coast as the main reference market. Since March 2026 the calculation uses a four-week window.
- Product freight into Quintero
- Crude freight to ENAP
- Independent inspection at discharge
- Tracking from load port to Chile
Air quality rules
The Concón–Quintero–Puchuncaví air plan limits emissions from hydrocarbon storage. During poor-ventilation episodes, the environmental regulator SMA can order cuts to loading and discharge.
