Djibouti
The fuel gateway for Ethiopia. We arrange product freight, storage and inspection at the Horizon Djibouti terminal at Doraleh.

Djibouti sits at Bab el-Mandeb and is the main fuel import hub for landlocked Ethiopia. Horizon Djibouti Terminals at Doraleh stores gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, and most of it leaves by truck.
The terminal dispatches about 360 trucks a day, which makes it as much an inland logistics hub as a marine terminal. We arrange product freight, storage and inspection.
From jetty to truck
The Doraleh Oil Jetty has two berths for tankers of 30,000 and 80,000 deadweight tonnes. The Djibouti Ports and Free Zones Authority oversees the port.

Red Sea routing
Tankers reach Djibouti through the Gulf of Aden or the southern Red Sea, where security risk remains.
