Mina al-Ahmadi, Kuwait
Kuwait's main oil export port. We arrange crude and product freight, voyage planning and inspection for cargoes from Mina al-Ahmadi and Al-Zour.

Mina al-Ahmadi handles most of Kuwait's petroleum exports and sits beside one of the region's largest refineries. With Al-Zour to the south, Kuwait has one of the biggest refining clusters in the Gulf and is a major supplier of jet fuel and kerosene to Europe.
All Kuwaiti exports must pass the Strait of Hormuz. KPC declared force majeure in April 2026, and exports in August were still well below pre-war levels. We fix tankers, plan voyages around current conditions and appoint inspectors.
Loading in the Gulf today
Shipping through the Strait of Hormuz has been disrupted since March 2026. In October 2026 the strait was partly open but contested, with frequent security incidents. Voyage planning now includes war-risk insurance, routing advice and contingency timing.
KPC is adding tankers and storage and is studying pipeline routes that avoid the strait, including use of the Saudi East-West system.
