Luanda, Angola
Angola's fuel import gateway. We arrange product freight, discharge and inspection for cargoes into Luanda and the Barra do Dande Ocean Terminal.

Angola produces large volumes of crude but imports about 70 percent of its fuel. The Barra do Dande Ocean Terminal in Bengo province, north of Luanda, opened in February 2025 and roughly doubled national storage at a stroke.
The terminal is owned by Sonangol and stores diesel, gasoline and LPG. The Luanda refinery remains the country's only operating refinery. We arrange product freight, discharge and inspection.
The Barra do Dande Ocean Terminal
Phase 1 has 16 tanks: 320,000 cubic metres for diesel, 160,000 for gasoline and 120,000 for LPG, with a 1,700-metre jetty. A second phase will take capacity to about 728,500 cubic metres.
- Diesel, gasoline and LPG freight into Angola
- Discharge coordination at Barra do Dande
- Independent quality and quantity inspection
- Tracking from load port to Angola
Prices and regulators
The Instituto Regulador dos Derivados do Petróleo (IRDP) regulates the downstream sector and sets fuel prices, which have risen as subsidies are phased out. Upstream activity is regulated by ANPG.
