Lomé, Togo
West Africa's product trading point. We arrange storage, cargo splitting, freight and inspection for gasoline and diesel moving through Lomé.

Lomé is where much of West Africa's gasoline and diesel changes hands. Large cargoes arriving from Europe and Asia are split offshore into smaller parcels for coastal and inland markets, and Argus publishes a daily diesel price on an offshore Lomé basis.
Togo is also building Lomé into a storage hub for landlocked Burkina Faso and Niger. The port has 16.6 metres of depth, and the state-owned COMPEL terminal is expanding. We arrange storage, cargo splitting, freight and inspection.

A 170,000 cubic metre expansion financed by the West African Development Bank was approved in September 2026. Lomé is about 1,000 kilometres by road from Ouagadougou.
