Suape, Brazil
Northeast Brazil's liquid bulk hub. We arrange crude and diesel freight, storage and inspection at Suape and the Abreu e Lima refinery.

Suape is the main liquid bulk port of Northeast Brazil. It is anchored by Petrobras's Abreu e Lima refinery (RNEST), which has the highest diesel yield in the country, about 70 percent.
Dredging in 2025 and 2026 opened the port to fully laden Suezmax tankers. We arrange crude and diesel freight, storage and inspection.
The Abreu e Lima refinery
Train 1 was expanded from 115,000 to 130,000 barrels a day in 2025, and Train 2 will add another 130,000. Petrobras sets refinery-gate prices with Brent and import parity as reference.
- Crude freight to RNEST
- Diesel loading and distribution
- Independent inspection at the liquid bulk piers
- Tracking along the Brazilian coast
Deeper water
Brazilian Navy ordinances in 2025 cleared Suezmax tankers with a 17 metre draft at Liquid Bulk Piers 3A and 3B, and the inner channel was dredged to 16.2 metres in January 2026.
