Lagos & Lekki, Nigeria
Africa's largest refinery and a new deep-water port. We arrange crude and product freight, loading and inspection at Lekki, east of Lagos.

The Dangote refinery at Lekki, east of Lagos, is the largest in Africa with a design capacity of 650,000 barrels a day, and it reached full capacity in February 2026. It has turned Nigeria from a large fuel importer into a product exporter.
The refinery has its own offshore moorings for crude and products. Next to it, Lekki Deep Sea Port has dedicated liquid berths away from the crowded Apapa and Tin Can ports. We arrange crude and product freight, loading slots and inspection.
The Dangote marine facilities
Two crude moorings take tankers from Aframax up to ULCC size, and three product moorings take tankers up to Suezmax. About 120 kilometres of subsea pipelines link them to the refinery. Dangote announced plans in 2025 to double capacity by 2029.
- Crude freight to the Dangote moorings
- Product freight from Lekki to West Africa and beyond
- Loading slot coordination
- Independent quality and quantity inspection
Rules for fuel in Nigeria
The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) regulates the sector and limits imported products to 50ppm sulfur. Dangote publishes its own gantry prices, which change often. For exports, West African cargoes usually reference the Argus offshore Lomé diesel price.
